Our Services

We are responsible for designing UM’s official website. We have created the University of Macau Brand Guideline to ensure that elements of the university’s identity system are always used correctly and consistently. We also produce a variety of promotional materials, including leaflets, calendars, greeting cards, advertisements for the media, lightbox advertisements, and souvenirs.
We create promotional content that is tailor-made for different target groups by analysing user behaviour and needs. We then release the content through appropriate media platforms and strategies to promote the university’s unique characteristics and achievements in teaching and research.
We promote UM through a variety of channels to maximise exposure and influence. We issue press releases, e-newsletters and produce print and electronic publications such as UMagazine, My UM, University of Macau Annual Report, Introducing UM and Campus Map. We issue press releases to share the latest developments of the university. We use UMTV and UM Today to enhance internal communication. We try to reach a wider audience both at home and abroad through popular social media platforms such as WeChat, Facebook, Instagram, Xiaohongshu, Weibo, Twitter, Linkedln, Toutiao, YouTube, WeChat Channels, Douyin, Tiktok, Kwai, Bilibili and Tencent.
We organise various kinds of university-level events to build a stronger image for the university. We also assist and collaborate with various faculties and departments in the organisation of events, ceremonies, and academic lectures. For enquiries about the organisation of large-scale events, please contact us at +853 8822 4336 or prs.event@um.edu.mo.
We closely monitor public opinion, handle media- and public opinion-related crises, and provide professional communication during crises. We also monitor higher education news both at home and abroad to keep university management updated on the latest news in higher education.
Hosting guests with professional hospitality helps strengthen the university’s relations with local and international communities. We provide guest reception service for those attending major university-level events such as the congregation. We offer expert opinions on the relevant protocol to faculties and departments upon request. We also guide campus tours for visitors to help them learn more about our campus. For enquiries about guest reception, please contact us at +853 8822 4335 or prs.campus_tour@um.edu.mo.
We actively foster and maintain good relations with the media through various means, including issuing press releases, arranging media interviews, organising press conferences, placing advertisements, and periodically holding media gatherings, in order to build a positive image for the university. For enquiries about media-related matters, please contact us at +853 8822 8004 or prs.media@um.edu.mo
UM is committed to giving back to society. One way the university does this is through actively participating in charity or fundraising campaigns such as the annual Walk for a Million. Apart from assisting the university to participate in these charity events, we also organise non-periodic fundraisers to raise funds for those in need through charities like the World Vision, UNICEF, Caritas, Orbis, Red Cross and Oasis Action.
